Listed Residential: Orangery extension to Grade II listed house, Long Melford, Suffolk
Project Brief:
To replace dated conservatory with orangery style garden room.
Design & Build:
The existing conservatory was not only dated in appearance but suffered from overheating in summer and being too cold in winter. The traditional but contemporary garden room replacement has less glazing and modern insulation, offering additional space that can be utilised all year round. The Farrow and Ball painted joinery is in keeping with the era of the original property and complies with Listed building conditions.
